Global warming, schmobal shmarming! (the sign reads, "The glacier was here in 1982"):
The Athabasca Glacier is behind me, which is part of the Columbia Icefield. Apparently it is actually the headwaters for the Columbia River that separates Oregon and Washington:
A few weeks later, some wildlife on a hike up to the Edith Cavell glacier here in Jasper:

Hi Gabe,
Columbia Ice Feilds was as far north as I made it. Had a little wander around on it then had to head back. Will try & put some pics on facebook from my Canadian travels just now.
Glad to here you've been having a good time round Jasper. Can see from your vids & things that winters starting to creep in.
Interesting to know that there is a Shambala festival in Canada too... wonder how similar they are?
Shaun.
Yeah, that's just a tiny tree, and a tiny squirrel....I thought you meant Shambhala in Canada, did you go to one elsewhere, i.e. in the U.K.?
